Distance learning courses
You can apply for a refund from a distance learning course up to 14 days after paying for the course unless you have received or accessed any of the course materials. All materials and certificates are sent via email. Once the materials have been sent out to you, you will be asked to verify that you have received them, after verification no refund will be given. Please note we cannot give feedback on individual questions only a pass or fail. If you fail you can submit the paper again up to 3 times.
Practical courses
It is the organisation’s responsibility to supply a roadworthy minibus/car and a room for training plus a wheelchair and clamps if accessible training is required. Please note (please make sure that candidates are able to drive the vehicle, minibuses can be driven on a car licence, on a non commercial basis, up to 4.25 Tons if accessible, 3.5 if not. Candidates must be 21 or over and be driving for 2 years. All vehicles supplied by the customer must be roadworthy and fit for purpose. All equipment supplied by the customer must be safe and fit for purpose.
TOPS and Midas are duty of care certificates that tick the boxes for health and safety and insurance purposes for carrying passengers on a non commercial basis, they do not give you additional categories on your licence or allow you to drive a bigger minibus than your licence allows.
