The course has been designed for persons who have the responsibility of transporting passengers in taxis, minibuses, cars or people carriers in any organisation. The course is in 3 modules, not all of the modules involve driving so passenger assistants can be included in the course.

Module A is the driving theory element which can be taken in a classroom or by distance learning.  Module B is the practical driving element which can only be taken in a vehicle. Module C is also a practical element only which looks at the safe loading, unloading and transportation of wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties.

Any of the modules can be taken independent of the others. Only DVSA registered trainers can deliver this course.
